The Residents of Coral Gables Should Always Come First
ANNEXATION IS NOT THE ANSWER
Expanding Coral Gables to incorporate areas that will require our City’s services will negatively affect the level and quality of services that our residents currently receive. It would strain critical emergency services, like fire and police, and risk tax increases against current residents to make up for this shortfall. I am the only candidate who outright opposes any and all annexation.
ENSURE SMART GROWTH
Some growth in our city during the past few years has been smart, but we are very near the point of overdevelopment and I am committed to preventing any unnecessary growth that compromises our services and the character of our city.
IMPROVE OUR QUALITY OF LIFE
We all enjoy a great quality of life in our city but we should always look for ways to improve it, including fighting for solutions to cut-through traffic, enhancing our streets, parks, and green spaces, and making our city more resilient and responsive to our residents’ needs.
LOWER TAXES
Our administration should always work towards lowering our property taxes and we should use our tax dollars wisely and always for the sole benefit our residents. I am committed to demanding greater transparency and accountability throughout our administration and ensuring our residents have a say when it comes to the use of our tax dollars.
